Climate change mitigation by promoting natural carbon sinks
A foundation would like to invest in sustainable projects aimed at promoting natural carbon sinks. To support the foundation’s staff in its decision-making process, we drafted an overview of the carbon cycle and illustrated how carbon sinks change over time and in various systems. We then arrived at a rough estimate of the potential associated with agroforestry. With the help of our overview, the foundation was equipped to map out its next steps.
